It is said that leaders are made, not born. From being an introvert to becoming one of the most renowned women entrepreneurs of Karnataka, my journey inspires me to strive for more each day. In spite of having a reasonably wholesome life, I felt a strange vacuum that wailed to be filled. The vacuum of entrepreneurship! My strong faith to be successful in business, comes from my understanding of one’s past is never being a deterrent, and that’s how I proved it for myself.

Today my ambitious self propelled my passion for entrepreneurship which empowered me to co-found not one but two businesses- Indus Technologies and later Garbha Gudi IVF, a chain of fertility treatment centres.

Identifying myself as a powerhouse entrepreneur, I strongly advocate the fact that challenging and testing situations give us the means to achieve greater heights and thus believe in the saying “If it is to BE, it is up to ME”.

Having detangled the tight knots of personal and professional equations, I am strong-footed to don upon the mantle of a woman entrepreneur of a 100 crores valued organisation.

Looking back at my journey, from being a lecturer to now being a celebrated entrepreneur, I feel that when one’s value-systems are clear, taking life-changing decisions becomes easier. To all the indomitable spirited women out there, I wish to voice one of my greatest lessons: “Keep moving and never stop. If a plan doesn’t work out, think of an alternative. Improvise. Keep the fire within you burning to guide you along and let it guide you even in the darkest of the moments”.
